When two rival donut shops—Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kremes are the center of attention during the festive season which comes out on top. What donuts do people prefer? Are donuts back in christmas spirits!

A poll at Macdonald high school was sent out to students to hear their thoughts on which donut establishment is better. Out of 19 responses, 52% preferred dunking donuts, and 42% preferred krispy kremes, while the other 6% enjoyed other donut establishments. Additionally people also preferred having coffee to drink with their donuts.  Half of the poll respondents were seniors or split between sophomores and juniors.

Freshman, Dylan Estrella, said “I prefer dunkin donuts over krispy because of their glazed and raspberry filled donuts and pretty decent coffee.”

“The reason I don’t like krispy kremes is because I got food poisoning from their donuts or coffee and not trusting them again,”

Sophomore, Erik Tellez, said “he prefers krispy kremes over dunkin because of their original glazed donuts.

Tellez said, “both are good but he can’t switch up on krispy kremes explaining that it  feels like cheating on your barber”.
